More than 5 million years ago, Dún lived on planet Earth as the protector of all animals and living beings. He was created by Uton, a satellite near the Moon that appeared in the Earth's sky every ten thousand years. Dún had a colored light in the middle of his chest, which was the essence of his life and his love for all things on Earth.

However, Dún felt lonely and desired the company of someone like him, so he asked Uton for this. Uton disapproved the request and punished Dún by taking all the animals from the planet, except for one species: humans. Dún was transformed into a lifeless mountain, and the essence of his heart was transferred to humans, so they could become the next guardians of the planet.

Over millions of years, humanity evolved and the legend of Dún and Uton continued to live on. In one of Uton's rituals, a human managed to ask Uton to send back all the animals and beings that had been taken by the satellite. The particle left by Dún in each human evolved to the point where they deserved to be the guardians of animals and the Earth, and Uton sent them back to the planet. In order for humans to protect animals and the Earth, they inherited the power of chimeras.
