If all tickets are not sold out by the end of the deadline, the raffle is canceled. In the case of cancellation everyone who purchased tickets gets the refund that is guaranteed by smart contract.
All "Bored & Lucky" raffles are smart contract based - the NFT prize and the funds received from the ticket sale are locked in the contract and the only way to release it is via a raffle process that is 100% fair for all parties involved.
The winning ticket is determined in a completely random and fair manner. To guarantee transparency and unbiased approach the winner is determined by smart contract via transaction on blockchain using Chainlink VRF to independently generate a random number to draw a winner.

No. Tickets are registered in the smart contract itself at the moment of purchase and linked directly to the Ethereum wallet address that purchased them, but they are not in the form of NFTs.
As soon as all tickets are sold out the raffle smart contract initiates a transaction on blockchain to request a random number from Chainlink VRF. This random number is used to determine the lucky ticket. The process may take up to 60 minutes. As soon as the lucky ticket is determined the NFT prize is transferred to the winner's wallet address.
Winner for each raffle is visible in the Ended raffles’ section on the homepage. You'll also be able to see the winner in the ‘My tickets’ section on the item of the specific raffle. All results of the raffles are also announced on twitter.com/boredlucky_eth .
If you have won the raffle, you’ll see a Claim Prize button on the raffle item. Press the button to initiate transaction to transfer the NFT prize to your Ethereum wallet address. You have to pay Ethereum gas fees for the transaction.
If the deadline comes before all tickets of the raffle are sold out - the raffle is canceled and everyone who purchased tickets gets the refund that is guaranteed by smart contract.
Raffle is automatically canceled by smart contract in a case if not all tickets are sold out until the deadline.
There's also a theoretical possibility that raffle can be aborted by smart contract if something goes technically wrong, for example, getting an error while receiving a random number from Chainlink VRF generator, but it is very unlikely.
In a case if the raffle is canceled or aborted then everyone who purchased the tickets gets the refund that is guaranteed by smart contract.
