The Groopies are in a Panic!

OH NO! Headmaster Quagwell Quiggens of Super Champs Academy will not let any Groopies attend the upcoming Superfan Celebration due to “unruly, hooligan behavior”. The Academy is going to great lengths to keep them from getting tickets to the event.

Now the Groopies are in a panic. They absolutely live to watch their heroes compete. They cheer and scream and throw food and whack each other over the head with tennis rackets. It is their lifeblood and their nirvana. 

The Call For Help

The Groopies are desperate and need your help!

Since Super Champs Academy will not let the Groopies into the Superfan Celebration, they’ve hatched a secret plan: “Sneak-A-Groopie”. 

Their scheme is to spend 16,000 USDC to BUY tickets from 60 Superfan Celebration NFT Ticket holders chosen through a raffle and to sneak into the Superfan Celebration in disguise, with a single Grand Prize winner getting 10,000 USDC all on their own!

In addition to the USDC winnings, every lucky raffle winner also gets the undying worship and support of the Groopies and a FREEmint of a Groopie NFT.

Here's the master plan the Groopies have come up with:

• The Groopies are running a raffle to spend 16K USDC on Superfan Celebration NFT Tickets
• There's total of 30K Tickets available; you must hold a Ticket as your raffle entry
• 10K of the Tickets are available in this Part 1 (requirements above). Additional tickets open up with future Parts 2 and 3. You can participate in every Part for multiple Raffle tickets.
• Once all 30K tickets have been airdropped to selected entrants starting in early June, the Groopies will run the raffle with elimination rounds, in order to shortlist where they want to sit based on ticket locations.
• The holders of the 60 Tickets in the selected seating location will each WIN 50 USDC and a FREEmint of a Groopie NFT (ETA early summer 2023)
• Two additional bonus rounds will run to award even larger prizes:
  • In the fifth round, one row of seats in the winning location will be chosen to win an additional 250 USDC
  • In the sixth and final round a single seat in the winning row will be chosen as the GRAND PRIZE WINNER, earning an additional 10K USDC

How This Works

There will be 30K total FREE Superfan Celebration NFT tickets airdropped to selected entrants for the 16K USDC Sneak-a-Groopie Raffle.

In this Part 1 community challenge, up to 10K of those who register on this Premint page after satisfying requirements will be eligible.

After all 30K Tickets have been allocated in the coming weeks (through additional community challenges), there will be an airdrop to the selected 30K registrants.  

Following the airdrop, winners of the 16K USDC Sneak-A-Groopie Raffle will be determined by a series of elimination rounds. There will be 60 winners of the Sneak-A-Groopie Raffle, each receiving a USDC prize, the love and adulation of Groopies, and a FREEmint of a Groopie NFT (ETA early summer 2023)

Each Superfan Celebration Ticket NFT will have a combination of traits that determine where the ticket holder’s seat is in the stadium. In each round of the elimination, the Groopies will randomly select one trait from each category until they finally select the winning seating box. After they select the winning box, two bonus rounds will select the 2nd and grand prize winners. The ticket traits will be chosen in the following order: Tier, Zone, Section, Box, Row, Seat.

To ensure fair play, after a ticket has been eliminated or claimed it will not be transferable until after the 6th and final selection round to ensure fair play. Additionally, after a ticket has had its prize claimed or is eliminated in the final round, it will not be transferable for 24 hours.

Wait, what is a Super Champ again?
The first Super Champs were minted as Tennis Champs NFTs in March 2022 - 3,333 unique 3D animated video clips and PFPs. Each Genesis TC NFT gives access to Tennis Champs, the first game in the Super Champs Universe (in closed beta on iOS and Android exclusively for TC Genesis Series NFT Holders). 

The upcoming mint – Groopies – is the 2nd NFT drop for Tennis Champs in the Super Champs universe. These superfans come with in-game utility as they cheer on their Champs and shower them with sweet rewards.
