  1. What is this?
    We are Nouns Vision, an organization creating a luxury version of the Nouns (@nounsdao) glasses.

  2. What's included in the mint?
    You will be minting an NFT, which can be burned and redeemed for a pair of physical glasses after the mint if you so choose. Redeeming the NFT is not required.

  3. What's included in the package?
    Each shipment comes with a box, faux leather carrying case, polishing cloth, and the actual sunglasses.

  4. When can I redeem the glasses?
    We will begin redemption for the glasses in June, with the first batch of shipments going out the 1st week of June.

  5. How much do they cost?
    Approximately ~0.33Ξ/ea (includes storage and international shipping). Since this is a physical product and ETH has been especially volatile — the final cost will be announced closer to the mint date. 

  6. When will I receive my glasses?
    The 1st batch of shipments (black) will begin going out 1st week of June. Upon redemption, exact shipping time will vary based on your location in the world. 

  7. Who are you?
    We are Salvino and Signora Armati. Through a grant from the Nouns Treasury, we are bringing the first pair of luxury nouns glasses to the world.

  9. How many are available? 
    There are a total of 7000 NFTs available in the collection. 500 (~7.1%) units is owned by the NounsDAO treasury. These were purchased by the nouns treasury via proposal 57.

  10. Can I mint more than one?
    Each wallet is limited to mint 2 NFTs.

  11. Can I pick the color I receive?
    Yes, you will have the ability to select your color when you redeem for your glasses. But there will only be a fixed amount of each color. We will announce the exact quantities of the color shortly.

  12. Why do I need 0.3 ETH in my wallet to mint?
    To avoid spam and ensure fairness, we require all registered wallets to have a minimum balance in their wallets in order to register.

Have questions?

Here are some answers to commonly asked questions. Did we miss something? DM us on Twitter to ask anything else.

Yes. ~50 million list registrations have happened on PREMINT without issue. When you sign in with PREMINT, you only are validating ownership of the wallet address. PREMINT does not get any permissions to perform transactions and does not have any way of withdrawing anything from your wallet.
Premint has been used by some of the top artists and collections in the NFT ecosystem, including XCOPY, Coldie, DeekayMotion, Cool Cats, Known Origin, Async Art, Shaq, and over 25,000 more.
Signing is the only way we can truly know that you are the owner of the wallet you are connecting. Signing is a safe, gas-less transaction that does not in any way give PREMINT permission to perform any transactions with your wallet.
PREMINT saves your wallet and social info as a part of the registration step, so you can disconnect everything afterwards and your entry is still valid.
As far as PREMINT is concerned, yes, but the project owner might check that you still own the token before finalizing the list.
If you fully registered, the only way your wallet wouldn’t be on the list of registered wallets is if the project removed it. PREMINT never deletes wallets from the list for any reason.
If you don’t know what wallet your Discord or Twitter are connected to, just go to https://premint.xyz/disconnect and you can force-disconnect them.
While creators are welcome to name their PREMINT projects whatever they like, we choose to use the term "allow list" or "access list" vs "whitelist." "Whitelist" could be considered exclusionary language, and the spirit of web3 is about inclusion.
