Overview
Oceans of Terra (OoT) is a free-to-play underwater-themed top-down RPG. All characters, in-game items, and land are owned by the players of OoT. Players can connect with friends, complete missions, defeat enemies, hunt for treasure, mine for gemstones, and much more. The three main character types will be Narwhals, Mermaids, and Sea Turtles.
Lore
The narrative of Oceans of Terra revolves around an Evil Empress and her parasitic minions who invade the planet of Terra. The objective of the invaders is to retrieve artifacts scattered throughout Terra's oceans in order to restore stability to their own planet. In this context, the players assume the role of heroes tasked with collecting and safeguarding the artifacts before they fall into the wrong hands. This storyline serves as a metaphor for the historical events of European colonization of indigenous lands.
What makes us special?
Our goal is to create games that are accessible, enjoyable, and easy to get involved with. To achieve this objective, we plan to:
Offer an immersive and interactive gameplay experience that appeals to players of all ages and skill levels. Web3 and Web2.
Provide a rich, dynamic, and ever-evolving game world that is full of surprises, challenges, and rewards. Many of these storylines and game features will be determined by the community.
Foster a sense of community and social connection among players, encouraging them to collaborate, compete, and connect with each other.
Offer a unique and original story that is thought-provoking, entertaining, and culturally relevant.
A charity DAO that gives 5% of all revenue to a good cause (voted on by holders).
What are our plans after mint?
We aim to develop and grow Oceans of Terra into an MMORPG game. This project will be the main focus of our studio for years to come. Additionally, we plan to keep building and exploring other game concepts. The company behind Angry Birds produced a game a day for months in order to strike their hit. We plan to do the same; test concept after concept. Keep what sticks, throw away what doesn't.
Excited to have you on this journey with us!
